Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Monday that Morocco has labeled baseless allegations against Iran and they failed to provide us with convincing reasons to support their claims.

In fact Morocco's baseless allegations are rooted in the unreal circumstances created by some opponent countries, he said.

This is regarded as a blatant and strategic mistake by Moroccan government which is not for the first time, Qasemi said.

There is no deadline for return of Iranian diplomats from Morocco and they might return home in the coming days, he said.

Morocco's ambassador left Tehran due to termination of his tenure along with the country's foreign minister who was here in Tehran several days ago, Qasemi said.

Iran's principled stance is based on good-will and satisfactory relations with its neighbors to help restore peace and stability in the region, he added.
