The experience of Iraq and Syria shows that the US is behind organizing terrorists and making unrest and instability in these countries, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani said in a meeting with Defense Minister of Afghanistan Lieutenant General Tariq Shah Bahrami.
He noted that certain reactionary Arab regimes of the region are supporting terrorism in the region both financially and logistically.
During the meeting, the Afghan defense minister, for his part, welcomed the elevation of all-out ties with Iran.
He ensured Shamkhani that Kabul will not permit any side to use its soil against Iran.
Shah Bahrami arrived in Tehran on Saturday for talks with Iranian authorities.
Iran and Afghanistan have a 936-kilometer-long joint border, and their annual trade exchanges stand at $2.2 billion.
