Addressing SCO special press conference, Lu Kang said upon Chines President Xi Jinping’s invitation, Rouhani, heading a delegation, is to participate in the event.
Presidents of Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan will also attend the summit, he added.

According to China Foreign Ministry, the 18th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit will be held on June 9-10 in Qingdao City.
