Due to the commitment and attempts made by the Iranian and Kyrgyz officials, the friendly relations between the two countries is developing in various fields of economy, politics and culture, President Rouhani said in a letter to Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
The president said that the two countries' relations are based on mutual respect and common interests.
He expressed the hope that with the execution of mutual agreements, the two countries' all-out ties will be consolidated.
The Islamic Republic of Iran sets no limit to development of all-out ties with Kyrgyzstan, the president added.
Independence Day is a public holiday in Kyrgyzstan. August 31, 1991 is the day when Kyrgyzstan got independent from the Soviet Union.
