According to the Seismological Center affiliated to the Institute of Geophysics of Tehran University, the earthquake occurred at 08:52 local time (05:22 GMT) at the depth of 11 kilometers.
The epicenter of the quake was registered at 52.03 degrees longitude and 29.49 degrees latitude.
There are no immediate reports on possible casualties or damages.
