Iran, China determined to fully implement 25-year cooperation agreement, FM says

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian in a tweet on Monday said that Tehran and Beijing are determined to fully implement the 25-year cooperation agreement.

Amirabdollahian wrote on his Twitter account prior to the Iranian President’s departure to China on Monday that Tehran and Beijing are determined to fully implement the 25-year cooperation agreement and the Iranian officials will follow up on the interests of Iranians wherever possible.

He said that he would accompany the President on an official trip to China.

Various bilateral ties, multilateralism, and pursuing a balanced foreign policy are on the agenda, he further noted. 

On Monday evening, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi left Tehran for Beijing.

During his visit, the high-ranking delegations of the two countries will hold negotiations and some cooperation documents will be inked.
