Iran FM leaves Geneva for Tehran

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian left Geneva for Tehran on Wednesday.

Amirabdollahian visited Geneva to attend the 52nd regular session of the Human Rights Council.

Earlier, speaking to reporters Amirabdollahian said that the enemies are also making their efforts for “terrorism laundering” which he said aims at depicting a new face of the terrorists.

He referred to his presence at a session of the Human Rights Council in the Swiss city where he said he had made clear the stances of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this regard.

The foreign minister noted that the enemies did their best to take advantage of the unrest in Iran over the past months to create chaos, insecurity, instability, and terror across the country. He said that he had used the chance of presence in the Geneva meeting to describe the realities of the scene for the participants.

Referring to the support provided by the West for the son of the former Shah of Iran, Amirabdollahian said that in his meetings with his European counterparts and the UN secretary-general, he had asked whether the Germans would accept Hitler’s son to become the Chancellor of Germany today – if he had a son.
