The managing director of Kerman Motor Company said here on Sunday that the South Korean Hyundai Motor Group is looking for safeguarding a stronger presence in Iran’s auto market.

“The Hyundai Motor Group, as a first step, intends to increase satisfaction among its customers in Iran and market for its products in the Islamic Republic based on a more appropriate system of supply and demand,” Saman Firouzi whose company produces some models of Hyundai cars.

The Hyundai automaker company is trying to have a more effective presence in the Iranian market, Firouzi said.

The managing director of Kerman Motor Company also said that the Iranian automaker is going to continue its cooperation with the Chinese automotive companies as well.

“We will never forget the support given to the Islamic Republic by Chinese companies during the unfair Western-imposed sanctions against Iran,” Firouzi said.
