Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Saturday that the Americans violated law in observing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and are also inviting the world to do so.

Zarif made the remarks on the sidelines of the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between foreign ministry and ministry of health, treatment and education in Tehran on Saturday.

'If the world fails to stand against the US, they will have to pay high cost more than what they paid for the JCPOA,' he said.

Iran will continue holding talks with different countries, Zarif said, adding that Tehran has resumed new round of talks at the level of deputy foreign ministers and today such talks were held between Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and UK deputy foreign secretary.

Some months ago, Araqchi was in England and nothing has happened and it is among duties of the Iranian deputy foreign minister to hold such talks, Zarif said.

In all round of talks, the two sides will review issues of mutual interests along with regional and international developments, he said.

Talks between Iran and England will be focused on G4+1, implementation of the JCPOA, access to banking sources and sales of Iran's petroleum which have been stipulated at the JCPOA, Zarif said.

As declared before, time is ripe for Europeans to take action in line with their political commitment in dealing with the JCOPA which might be costly for them, but anyhow and in case they mind to make use of the JCPOA advantages, they should voice readiness to maintain their international achievements, he said.

They should pay the same price as the Islamic Republic of Iran, Zarif said.
