The two-time Academy Award winner Asghar Farhadi and the cast of his Cannes opener film, ‘Everybody Knows’, were invited to the 43rd Toronto Int’l Film Festival as guests.

According to a report, with almost one week left to the inauguration ceremony of Toronto Int’l Film festival, the administrators of the event released the list of guests for the event.

The lineup includes veteran Iran director Farhadi and the cast of his globe-trotting cinematic production ‘Everybody Knows’.

The flick represents Spain at the 43rd edition of Toronto International Film Festival in Canada.

According to the festival announcement, 773 guests have been invited to attend the event. Prominent filmmakers, thespians, and artists are also scheduled to take part in the film event.

Iranian filmmakers Ali Abbasi, Maryam Keshavarz, Saeed Ja’farian and Jasmine Mozaffari, who made ‘Border’, ‘Viper Club’, ‘Darkness’ and ‘Firecrackers’ respectively, will also attend the festival.

Toronto International Film Festival is one of the largest publicly attended film festivals in the world, attracting over 480,000 people annually. Since its founding in 1976, TIFF has grown to become a year-round destination for film culture operating.

The 2018 edition of the event is scheduled for September 6-16, in Toronto, Canada.
