Iranian and Turkish foreign ministers on Friday conferred on the latest developments in Syria.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and Turkish Foreign Minister Mawlood Shawesh Oglu in their meeting in Tehran discussed bilateral relations as well as the regional developments, including the Syria crisis.

The meeting between Zarif and Oglu occurred on the sidelines of a summit of Iranian, Russian and Turkish presidents on Syria.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Iran on Tuesday afternoon to attend a trilateral meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to discuss the Syria crisis.

Rouhani, Putin and Erdogan are to attend a meeting on Friday evening for exchange of views on fighting terrorism and establishing security in Syria.
