Iran like any other country in the world will not tolerate undermining of its national security, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

No country in the world will tolerate or remain silent on aggression against its people and soil, violation of its sovereignty and undermining of its national security, Bahram Qasemi said in a statement.

He made the remarks in reaction to the French Foreign Ministry's statement in which the country has expressed concern about Iran's attack on a terrorist group's base north of Iraq.

Iran has earlier warned the Iraqi government and the country's Kurdish region about the terrorist groups' acts of sabotage, Qasemi noted.

He referred to the terrorist groups' recent operation which claimed the lives of 11 Iranian citizens and noted that the people expected the armed forces to give the terrorists a decisive response.

Terrorism in all its aspects should be condemned without political considerations, Qasemi said.

He urged the French officials to adopt realistic approach and avoid double standard approaches in their foreign policy.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) in a statement explained the missile strike on Saturday against the location and gathering of the terrorist groups' commanders, and emphasized, 'The sons of the Iranian nation in the army and other armed forces and intelligence and security institutions, are determined to protect borders of Iran and prevent the repetition of evil acts by terrorists hired by the enemies by giving them harsher responses.'

Based on credible and documented reports on the operation, the terrorist hotspot for the conspiracy against Iran's national security was destroyed and tens of terrorist ringleaders and key elements were killed and wounded.
