Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has called for dissemination of the political messages of Islamic Revolution's Hajj congregation to the world of Islam.

The Supreme Leader made the call in an address to a group of Iranian officials in charge of Hajj on Monday.

Links with different ranks of Muslim Ummah in Hajj, dissemination of the message of Islamic Revolution to the pilgrims and removing doubts and ambiguities, preparing the ground for establishing or promoting links between the Islamic Republic of Iran and other Muslim countries and fraternal peaceful co-existence with Islamic schools of thought are among political and necessary messages for the world of Islam during Hajj congregation, the Leader said.

The Paramount Leader said the order of God Almighty for congregation of Muslims in a single time and special location to perform Hajj rituals carries such important political messages as the need for links and collaboration among Muslims and showing power of the Islamic Ummah.

'Besides the spiritual aspect of Hajj, which is highly important, the Islamic goals and facts should also be made outstanding and for which plans be designed and actions be taken.'

Referring to the Saudi government's procrastination to hold Komeil prayers ceremony, the Supreme Leader said efforts should be made and initiatives should be taken to overcome the barriers and possible damage.

Ayatollah Khamenei harshly criticized extensive destruction of Islamic works such as the works relating to the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH), Hazrat Ali (AS), and the caliphs and combatants early in the manifestation of Islam under the pretext of developing Hajj.

The Supreme Leader said at a time when many countries carefully protect their historical works and even artificially create works to enrich their history and background, many Islamic works in Mecca and Medina have been destroyed.

Ayatollah Khamenei asked the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to take initiatives and to make contacts with Hajj officials in other Muslim countries to prevent destruction of the Islamic works.

While thanking officials in charge of this year's annual Hajj, the Ayatollah also asked Hajj officials to use new mechanisms, especially cyberspace, to build links with pilgrims in other countries during Hajj and provide further collaboration and cooperation.
