Chabahar good opportunity for regional investors: President

Hassan Rouhani on the sidelines of the second conference of the heads of the six countries' parliaments in Tehran, on Saturday in the meeting with Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, added, 'The relations between Tehran and Kabul are beyond just neighboring relations and therefore, overcoming terrorism and establishing stability and security and economic development for the Islamic republic of Iran is more important.'

Rouhani called the economic ties between Iran and Afghanistan in need of a serious transformation and stressed that Tehran is ready for every kind of assistance and cooperation with Kabul in economic fields.

the Speaker of the Afghan Parliament, Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, also expressed satisfaction with his visit to Iran, and said, 'Iran and Afghanistan have many ethnic and cultural commonalities and the Afghan nation is looking at Iran as a neighbor who has always stood next to him in difficult times.'

The head of the Afghan parliament added, 'Iran and Afghanistan are both the main victims of terrorism in the region and the world, and we believe that Afghanistan's cooperation with Iran in the field of fighting terrorism is not only in favor of the two countries, but in the interest of the whole region, which will promote stability and accelerated development in the region.'
