Tehran, New Delhi rise of cooperation in favor of both countries, region: Veep

First Vice President of Iran said that the increase in cooperation between Tehran and New Delhi is in the interest of both countries and the region, and noted that using all capacities to develop relations between Iran and India at all levels is needed.

Eshaq Jahangiri on Saturday afternoon in a meeting with the Iranian ambassador in New Delhi, assessed the level of cooperation between the two countries of Iran and India in favor of both countries and the region, and said that this cooperation could contribute to the creation of greater stability and security in the region.

Jahangiri stressed the development of relations between the two countries of the Islamic Republic of Iran and India in all fields, calling for the use of all capacities to promote the level of trade and economic ties between the two countries.

Referring to the visit and meeting of the presidents of the two countries, he expressed confidence that Tehran and New Delhi can take long steps by relying on resources, achievements and common goals in economic, political and cultural fields.

First Vice President of Iran also stressed the necessity of following the implementation of contracts as well as the decisions of the joint Iranian and Indian Commission on the part of the Iranian ambassador in the country.
