Addressing local officials, Jahangiri said taking advantage of Makran shores play key role in development of Sistan and Baluchestan in east of the country.
On regional developments, Jahangiri said Iran never let Hormuz Strait to be insecure and it will be among Iran's grave responsibilities to guarantee its security.
Iran keeps Hormuz security for trade exchanges with overseas, he said.
Afghanistan and other countries in central Asia are allowed to use Chabahar port.
India and China mind to invest in various parts of Chabahar and Iran welcomes the move, Jahangiri said.
Iran sets no limit for countries in central Asia, China and India, he said.
First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said on Tuesday that Iran has decided to turn Chabahar port to main port of the country thanks to its high potential.
