Iran Leader urges students to work toward independence

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in a recent message to the Iranian university students in Europe has urged them to contribute to efforts aimed at developing Iran and making the country independent of foreign states.

'We all know that you, the youth, are among the most important sources of hope for the future of the country. Everyone should know that a large number of students are doing huge tasks in the country and are deeply feeling the joy of serving the country to gain knowledge and technology,' Ayatollah Khamenei wrote in his recent message to the 53rd meeting of the Union of Islamic Student Association in Europe (UISAE) in the Islamic center in Hamburg.

'Today our university students, studying anywhere in the world, will have the opportunity to join their pious and devoted peers to make the country independent of foreigners,' read the message a copy of which was obtained by the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Saturday.

You could be the leaders and pioneers of this campaign, the Supreme Leader said.
