Iran joins Rail Deal for Central Asia

The head of Iran-Tajikistan Joint Chamber announced Iran’s joining of Rail Deal for Central Asia.

Mohammad Hussein Roshanak added at the news conference in Mashad on Tuesday that from the beginning of Iran's connection to the Central Asia railway, our carriages were not allowed to travel in these countries, which has recently been pursued by the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, which led to the signing of the deal.

He noted, 'We should now look for standard wagons in line with the Central Asian railways, so that we can travel to these countries and export our goods.'

The official went on to say that the chamber has been formed for four months.

'The joint chambers are to organize and pursue economic relations between the two countries to provide the areas of economic development that would often be in the field of trade between the two countries,' he added.

Roshanak added that Iran has only active chambers in the Central Asian countries of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, and that the joint camber of Afghanistan with Iran is also active in Tehran and Mashhad.

The head of the Joint Chamber of Iran and Tajikistan said that the chamber in Tehran has headquarters, but its main office is in Mashad, while the Joint chamber Office in Dushanbe is also active in Tajik capital.
