Western powers not play role in destroying terrorists in region: Pres. Rouhani

The Iranian president says that the hegemonic powers were not allowed to introduce themselves as the savior of the region, and now everyone knows that Western powers did not play any role in the destruction of terrorists in the region.

'We also did not allow the domineering powers to introduce themselves as the savior of the region, and now everyone knows that they did not play any role in destroying the terrorists in the region, performing only a show with their aircraft and helicopters, and the power that was able to destroy the terrorists was the nation, the army, the Iraqi mujahideen and the fatwa of the religious authority,' the Iranian president went on to say.

Recalling that we, as our Islamic, religious duty and neighboring Iraq from the first day, were along with the Iraqi people and are today, made the remark, “In the world, no one doubts that the winner of this war was the Iraqi people, and the terrorists had and have nothing to do with Islam and the Prophet (PBUH) and Ahlul-Bayt.
