According to a report by Foreign Ministry Media Department on Thursday, Mousavi said the measure is against international obligations of the 'US regime' and responsibility to compensate the damages is on their shoulder.
The spokesman said the sanctions like other unilateral US sanctions are contrary with principles and regulations of international relations and clearly contrary with international commitments of the UN Charter, Algiers communiqués, 1955 Treaty of Amity and International Court of Justice, which should be accountable judicially for its illegal acts.
Mousavi underlined that responsibility to compensate damages caused by the sanctions is on the shoulder of the US regime.
