Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony of Holy Prophet (PBUH) Sports Complex late on Thursday, he added that Quds Day initiated by Imam Khomeini left a remarkable legacy for the Iranian nation and other freedom-seeking people round the globe so that a big gathering takes place in support of the oppressed Palestinian nation on the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadhan.
“Deal of the Century is mainly sponsored by the Persian Gulf rich countries and it is mischievous for the Islamic states whose money are spent to deny the Palestinian nation of their rights,” he said.
Under the current sensitive situation, presence of the Iranian people in such demonstrations is a clear message to oppose the plots masterminded against the oppressed people of Palestine, Larijani said.
‘Deal of the Century’ will definitely get nowhere, he said, adding that the Palestinian nation and freedom seekers nations in the region along with Islamic states are watchful in dealing the plots, as all the Palestinian groups have condemned the scheme, he said.
Active presence in this year’s rallies is very crucial and will defuse the enemies' plots, Larijani reiterated.
