Gas production in South Pars to hit over 60 million cubic meters

Managing Director of the South Pars Oil and Gas Company Mohammad Meshkinfam said on Saturday that gas production in the field is to hit over 60 million cubic this year.

Installation and commissioning of five gas rolldocks in South Pars in this current Iranian year (beginning in March 21), will increase gas production capacity of the South Pars common field by over 60 million cubic meters per day by the end of this year, he said.  

Regulating 6 operating platforms which are to be installed in 2018, is to increase the production level by daily based of 18 million cubic meters, he predicted.    

Presently, phase 14 of the South Pars has favorable conditions and according to the plans, it is scheduled that the two remaining platforms of the plan each with the daily capacity of 500 million cubic feet to enter into production line by the end of this year and the gas produced by these two platforms are to be refined by one of the South Pars refineries, he said.
