Iranian Official rejects Ukrainian plane being hijacked

Iran's Civil Aviation Organization Spokesman Mohammad Hassan Zibakhsh rejected the news regarding a Ukrainian plane being hijacked, saying details of the plane departure from Mashad airport and its landing in Kiev will be released.

Speaking to IRNA, Mohammad Hassan Zibakhsh said the Ukrainian plane that had taken off from Kabul airport refueled in Mashhad airport yesterday and flew from Mashhad airport to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.

He added that the plane landed in Kiev last night.

Some of the foreign media quoted deputy foreign minister of Ukraine as saying that the Ukrainian plane was hijacked and transferred to Iran.
