Before his talks with Amirabdollahian, Grossi attended a joint press conference with Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami.
During the conference, Grossi said he sees no possibility for a comprehensive deal, like the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), if his organization and Iran fail to reach a mutual understanding about the Safeguards Agreement issues.
IAEA chief arrived in Tehran late on Friday and his visit will last for one day.
