Raisi issued the congratulatory message on Thursday in the wake of the Iranian team’s becoming champion in the U17 World Championships in Italy.
In these competitions, Iran’s Ali Ahmadi-Vafa at 48kg gained a gold medal, Mohammad Gholami at 51kg, Ahora Bowairi at 65k won silver medals, and Payam Ahmadi at 45kg, Reza Azarshab at 80 kg, Hamidreza Keshtkar at 92kg, and Mohammad Jahangiri at 110kg bagged bronze medals.
Iran’s team became champion with an aggregate of 135 scores. The Republic of Azerbaijan and Georgia followed Iran respectively with 130 and 121 scores.
