Owji calls for Iran-Russia agreement putting into operation

Iran’s Minister of Petroleum Javad Owji on Wednesday urged Iran-Russia agreements to be put into operation.

Owji met and held talks with Russian Presidential aide Igor Levitin here in Tehran on Wednesday.

Iran's oil minister said that the negotiations between Iranian and Russian delegations are continuing in the 13th administration of Iran, adding that agreements and memorandums of understanding have been inked that he hopes they will be put into operation as soon as possible.

The head of the Joint Commission of Iran and Russia on behalf of Iran said that “we had good meetings” with Alexander Novak, the Russian head of the joint commission, and noted that Iran and Russia have good capacities and potential in the field of energy, transportation, industry, and trade.
