The Iranian president made the remarks at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport after return from his visit to Kazakhstan and attending the 6th Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) held in Kazakhstan.
He said that CICA with its 28 permanent members from the east to the west side of Asian Continent is an important apparatus.
He added that the interference of the foreign countries is not an appropriate way for resolving the existing crises in the region, emphasizing that security must be generated from within the Asian Continent, since the interference of the outsiders only adds to the problems, and this is the key point that Iran mentioned in CICA Conference.
Focusing on improvement of relations with Kazakhstan, Raisi said, "The president of Kazakhstan's visit to Tehran and my visit to that country, in addition to presence in regional conferences and meetings and the two countries' cooperation in them, have increased the level of our bilateral ties."
The president said that in meetings with Kazakhstan officials and in the first step, we allocated about 2 billion dollars for the expansion of the economic and commercial transactions, and the official and activists need to spend efforts for reaching that level.
He said that the other issue discussed between Iran and Kazakhstan was the energy and oil swap, adding, "They economic announced that the issue is in need for new surveys, since it was proposed 10 years ago and faced difficulties, but resuming swap deals is to the benefit of both countries."
"The president said that another achievement of the visit was lifting the visa requirement for the Iranian and Kazakh businessmen who intend 14-day visits.
President Raisi said that in bilateral meeting with the heads of the Asian countries it was stressed that Iran's relations with those countries has accelerated noticeably and there is appropriate ground for the presence of the Iranian economic activists in Asian markets.
