Upon arrival in Ashgabat International Airport, Ali-Akbar Mehrabian was welcomed by Turkmen officials.
During his visit, Mehrabian is to meet with Turkmen President Serdar Berdymukhamedov and other senior officials in that country.
Resumption of cooperation in exchange of energy, transit of electricity and provision of an agreement between Iran, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan on Hari River are among the issues which will be discussed during the Ashgabat visit.
