Iranian, Tanzanian FMs hold phone conversation

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian in a telephone conversation with his Tanzanian counterpart Stergomena Lawrence Tax said Iran is ready to share know-how and experiences, specially in the fields of knowledge-based, agriculture, fisheries, dam construction, watershed management and irrigation, with the African country.

The two foreign ministers also discussed issues of mutual interest and the development of mutual cooperation.

The Iranian foreign minister congratulated the appointment of Tax as Tanzania’s minister for foreign affairs.

Amirabdollahian also emphasized the need to develop mutual cooperation in various fields.

The Tanzanian FM, for her part, also expressed her gratitude for the written and verbal congratulatory message of her Iranian counterpart on the occasion of her appointment as the new foreign minister of Tanzania, and called for the development of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

She added that Tanzania has put expansion of mutual cooperation, especially in commercial and economic fields, as well as holding a joint in its agenda.
