According to a Saturday report by the IRNA, The Iranian team, including a sportsman and a sportswoman, gained 575 points and finished in third place after India and China which became first and second respectively.
To receive the bronze medal, the Iranians competed with their Pakistani rivals and defeated them 16-14.
The Asian Games is a continental multi-sport event being held from September 23 to October 8, 2023, in Hangzhou in Zhejiang province in east China.
Iran has dispatched 289 male and female athletes to compete in 34 sports categories in the 19th Asian Games.
