Iran FM: Islamic nations can put an end to Zionist crimes in Gaza

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has said that a halt to the Israeli war on Gaza is possible at the current point in time if leaders of Islamic countries and top officials of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League make the required efforts in that regard.

Amirabdollahian made the remarks late on Saturday in a televised interview. He accompanied President Ebrahim Raisi on his trip to Saudi Arabia earlier in the day to attend a joint summit of the OIC and the Arab League on Gaza.

He also said that the summit should have taken place much earlier.

In its final communiqué, the OIC-Arab League summit called for an end to the siege of the Gaza and an stop to arms exports to the Israeli regime.

It also called for allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza and asked the International Criminal Court to launch an immediate investigation into war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the Zionist regime across the occupied territories, including in the occupied East Al-Quds.
