Hamas hits two Israeli armored vehicles in northern Gaza

The Ezzoddin Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Palestine’s Hamas Resistance Movement, has hit two Israeli armored vehicles in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Qassam Brigades hit the Israeli armored vehicles using anti-armor rockets dubbed Yasin 105, the group said in an announcement reported by Palestinian media on Saturday.

Kissufim, a settlement near the Gaza Strip, was also targeted by short-range rockets, the announcement further said.

The retaliatory attacks come as the Israeli regime is pressing ahead with its air campaign in Gaza, pummeling the besieged territory with airstrikes since a seven-day truce came to an end on Friday.

Nearly 200 Palestinians have been killed in less than two days since the regime resumed its air attacks.

They are in addition to more than 15,500 fatalities caused in 48 days of war before the truce.

Most of those killed in the Israeli attacks are women and children.
