Upon his arrival at the Russian capital, President Raeisi was officially welcomed by senior officials including Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Foreign Minister of Russian Federation.

The Iranian President, before his trip to Moscow, said on Thursday morning that the issue of Palestine will be one of the most "important points of discussion" in Moscow.

Ebrahim Raeisi told reporters that his visit to Moscow was at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
