Pro-Palestinian protesters rally in London on New Year’s Eve

Pro-Palestinian protesters marched in central London on New Year’s Eve calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The protesters carried the Palestinian flag and banners that called for a ceasefire in Gaza as New Year fireworks and festivities were on display Sunday night.

They voiced their strong objection to the massacre of Palestinian civilians in the besieged enclave, which has been under relentless Israeli attacks for 87 days.

The British have been holding weekly rallies in London and other cities in support of the Palestinians in Gaza since the war began on October 7.

On Boxing Day, a holiday celebrated after Christmas Day, Palestinian supporters also gathered in front of international chain stores famous for their Christmas discounts to condemn Israeli atrocities in Gaza.

Nearly 22,000 people have been killed and over 56,000 others wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza.
