Addressing journalists on Thursday and after the talks with the high officials of Turkmenistan, Amirabdollahian gave explanations in this regard.

Referring to his meeting with the high-ranking leaders of Turkmenistan, Amirabdollahian said, "We had an overview of the progress and implementation of the latest agreements between the leaders of the two countries in Tehran. We agreed to develop cooperation in the fields of energy, transit, transportation, science and technology."

He continued that the volume of the two countries' trade exchanges is increasing satisfactorily.
