A meeting with representatives of parliamentary foreign affairs committees from BRICS countries was convened in Moscow on April 11.

The meeting was held with the head of the Iran-Russia friendship group with an Iranian parliamentarian, Ebrahim Rezaei, in attendance.

The representatives of BRICS countries, in the meeting, exchanged views on how to help stop the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.

The proposals for parliamentary cooperation between the member states are on the agenda of the two-day meeting.

The heads of BRICS parliamentary committees have also held talks with the chairs of both chambers of the Russian Federal Assembly (parliament).

The Palestinian Health Ministry’s headquarters in the Gaza Strip has announced that the number of martyrs in the besieged area has exceeded 33,137 since October 7, 2023.
