Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has denounced the U.S. and U.K. military aggression against Yemen as well as the ongoing Israeli atrocities faced by Palestinians.

Araqchi’s condemnations came during an Iftar banquet on Monday evening with the ambassadors and heads of Islamic countries' missions in Tehran in attendance.

During the event, the top diplomat underlined the impact of the U.S.-led attacks on Yemen and their implications across the region as well as Israel’s crimes being committed against the Palestinian people.

He called for solidarity among Muslim nations during the holy month of Ramadan.

Araqchi emphasized the importance of standing united to resist the injustices, advocating for the complete restoration of the rights of Muslim nations, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with al-Quds as its capital.

Referring to overall problems faced by Muslims globally, he said that Muslims started Ramadan in time when the people of Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen have been experiencing war crimes.

The foreign minister also the coincidence of Ramadan with the arrival of Nowruz and the new Persian year, expressing his heartfelt wishes for prosperity and blessings for the people of Iran and neighboring nations
