Araqchi held the conversations on Saturday afternoon, according to the official Telegram page of the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson.
During talks with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the top Iranian diplomat categorically condemned Israeli crimes against the defenseless people of Gaza, and called for immediate action by Islamic nations to halt the atrocities.

Araqchi said that Islamic countries also share the responsibility to support Yemen in the face of British-American military aggression as well as the killing of women and children, and the destruction of infrastructure in that country.
The Saudi minister, for his part, elaborated on his country’s stance on Israeli aggression, stressing the necessity for cooperation and close interaction among regional nations to prevent further escalation.
Gaza and the renewed Israeli attacks, which were resumed last Tuesday, was also a main topic of the phone talk between Araqchi and Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on Saturday.

Araqchi condemned the resumption of the strikes, the massacre of civilians, and the prevention of international humanitarian aid, which he said were in violation of a ceasefire in Gaza. He called on the international community to intervene and stop the regime’s warmongering policies in the region.
He also denounced the ongoing U.S.-British attacks on Yemen, saying that war against the Arab country is doomed to failure, as Yemen has in previous years proved that it would its territory against foreign aggression.
In response, Abdelatty expressed concern over the escalation of tensions in Gaza, Yemen and Lebanon, highlighting the significance of consultations and diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation in the entire region.
The two sides also emphasized the need for further talks on regional developments.
