During a phone call on Saturday, President Pezeshkian also extended his congratulations to Erdogan and the people of Turkey on Eid al-Fitr, expressing his wish for all Muslims to benefit from the blessings of the occasion. 

The president also said he hoped for a face-to-face meeting with Edrogan soon to exchange views on matters of mutual interest between the two countries and regional and international issues.

Meanwhile, Erdogan revealed plans for a joint Iran-Turkey economic commission in the coming months, saying the forum would facilitate in-depth discussions on bilateral, regional, and international affairs.
