Khabar Online: Iran’ Foreign Minister reveals Canada’s efforts to prevent UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to attend Nam summit in Tehran.

Speaking to Iran Parliament, Ali Akbar Salehi said that Canada’s FM has sent a letter to Mr. Ban Ki-moon and officially had asked UN Secretary General not to attend in Nam summit in Tehran.
“Canada also had requested some other states not to attend in Nam summit”, Salehi added “but thank God we saw the summit was held in the best way and even better than the previous ones in other members countries.”
Presenting a report on the floor of Iran’s Parliament of how the Nam summit in Tehran held, Salehi said to the MPs: “as holder of rotating presidency of Non-aligned movement, Iran should consider and represent all 120 members’ point of views”.
