Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in separate decrees issued on Sunday appointed three new army commanders.

Brigadier General Mohammad Hossein Dadras was appointed as caretaker of the Iranian army, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari was appointed as deputy chief army commander in charge of coordination and Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi was appointed as the new navy commander.

In his message, the Supreme Leader also thanked the sincere efforts of former army commander Brigadier General Reza Pourdastan and Brigadier General Mohammad Hossein Dadras in their remarkable services in their previous positions.
