Iran health minister opens scientific conference in China

The first annual scientific conference started work Sunday with the attendance of Iranian Health Minister Hassan Ghazizadeh Hashemi and the Iranian residents in China.

About 1,400 Iranian students are in China 62% of whom are in the PhD studies,” Iranian scientific attaché in China Yousef Hojjat said.

“China with 400,000 articles per year and Iran with about 12,000 rank 2nd and 16th in the world,” he said.

“Iran has 8 student associations in China,” he added.

He also said that the conference which was held by Beijing Students Association aims at achieving the experience of Iranian living in China.
