We have already seen a lot of changes and reshuffles in the US administration, but they are internal issues of the US government, said the spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

'For us, their approaches are important, and we'll take appropriate stances against them,' said Bahram Qasemi on Tuesday evening.

'Such reshuffles in the [US President Donald] Trump's administration, including dismissals, are nothing new,' Qasemi said, referring Trump’s recent move to fire Secretary of State Rex W. Tillerson.

Regarding the talks between the US and North Korea, he said that Iran supports any negotiations in line with the world peace and stability, but the US has already proved that one cannot trust Washington's approaches and words.

Referring to the upcoming visit to Baku, Azerbaijan by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Qasemi said, 'The visit is an interesting initiative in promoting cooperation and convergence among countries and people of the region, and will help peace and stability of the region.'

We hope through dialogue, Iran can help peaceful coexistence in the region.

Enhancement of political, security, and economic cooperation will form the spirit of talks in the Republic of Azerbaijan, he added.
