Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, heading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, during his tour of China, Russia and Belgium, arrived in Tehran on Wednesday afternoon.

Zarif toured those countries to exchange views on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) after withdrawal of the US from the internationally-recognized treaty.

During the visits, Zarif conferred with counterparts to examine avenues to continue cooperation with Russia, China and the European countries in the absence of the US.

After visiting Beijing and Moscow, Zarif arrived in Brussels on Monday night to confer with his European counterparts as well as Eu Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini.

Following unilateral and illegal withdrawal of the US from the JCPOA, Iran's foreign ministry is to continue negotiations in the absence of the US.
