Iran's Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamhani described Quds Day as symbol of Islamic World coherence against the Zionist regime of Israel.

Shamkhani invited Iranians to attend Quds Day rallies (this Friday) saying it is the legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini.

'It is the symbol of coherence and dynamics of the Islamic World to defend Palestinians' aspirations and resistance against cruelty, aggression and expansionism of the Zionist regime and its allies,' he said.

'The Axis of Resistance continuous victories in Syria increased self-esteem and impetus in the Islamic countries against Zionists’ expansionism,' he said, referring to Iran support of Palestine cause as a principled act.

He also pointed to Quds Day as a nightmare for the Zionist regime of Israel, saying Israeli leaders on one hand show their brutality by killing Palestinians and medics and on the other hand in Europe they are after weakening Iran as the biggest supporter of Palestinians.
