Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Oceania Abbas Araghchi says six major world powers (the P5+1 group) should show their goodwill in the next round of talks with Tehran.

In an exclusive interview with IRNA on Tuesday, Araghchi said “All [necessary] facilities and opportunities for the peaceful settlement of issues between the two sides are provided, if the P5+1 -- which consists of Britain, China, France, Russia, and the US plus Germany -- show goodwill in the next round of talks with Iran.”

He further hoped that the next round of negotiations between the P5+1 group and Iran over the country's nuclear program would be based on “goodwill and would end up in success.”

Iran and the P5+1 have held several rounds of talks with Iran's nuclear issue as a major focus. Washington, Israel and some of their allies accuse Iran of pursuing non-civilian objectives in its nuclear energy program.

Iran rejects the allegation, arguing that as a signatory to Non-Proliferation Treaty and a member of International Atomic Energy Agency, it is entitled to develop and acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.
