Israeli regime says dozens of drones launched from Iran

A spokesman for the Israeli occupation forces says Iran has launched dozens of drones from its territory towards Israel.

Daniel Hagari said on Sunday night that it would take several hours for the unmanned aircraft to arrive, claiming that the military would intercept them, according to the Times of Israel.

The Israeli regime has remained on high alert after Tehran pledged a response to the regime’s airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Syria on April 1.

Iran said the strike, which killed seven military advisors including a senior Islamic Revolution Guards Corps commander, was a violation of international law and the Vienna Convention.

According to Israeli media, the regime on Saturday restricted gatherings and canceled educational activities amid fears of Iran’s retaliation.

Airport authorities also announced the closure of airspace, while dozens of planes patrolled skies.
