Iran has gained self-sufficiency in producing petrol for spraying and training aircrafts.

The Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company Jalili Salari said Iran has gained self-sufficiency in producing the petrol type 100 which is used for spraying and training aircrafts.

He added from now on there would be no need to the import of this kind of gasoline from other countries.

He referred to the use of non-fossil fuels in Iran including ethanol and methanol, adding 4 percent of the world's need of fuel production is ethanol fuel, in which Iran should gain self-sufficiency as well.

Salari stressed that Iran would join the countries possessing non-fossil fuels by performing the projects of producing gasoline with 5% ethanol.
