The 30th international Olympics competitions in London will start Friday following the event's opening ceremony.
Iran has dispatched a team of 54 athletes to London's 2012 Olympics playing in a variety of fields, including archery, table tennis, wrestling, weightlifting, rowing, boxing, track and field, swimming and taekwondo.
However, both members of the Iranian judo team that won entry into the London Olympics, Mohammad Reza Rodaki and Javad Mahjoob, are reportedly unable to make it to the important event due to illnesses.
The last Iranian athletes to compete in the games will be free style wrestlers Mehdi Taghavi and Reza Yazdani, who will compete on the concluding day of the games on August 12.
More than 10,000 athletes from over 200 nations will be participating in London's 2012 summer Olympic games.
