Iranian theater troupe Crazy Body is planning to perform two plays at the 2012 International Theater Week in the Brazilian largest city, Sao Paulo.

The Iranian stage actor and director Yaser Khaseb’s two works Mysterious Gifts and Mud are slated to go on the Brazilian’s stage.

According to the festival’s program, each of the plays will be presented during two performances at the event.

Mysterious Gifts is composed of three short pieces, which draw on folkloric dance and music as well as on experimental stage trends.

Several workshops are also scheduled to be held by the award-winning stage artist Khaseb at the festival.

Khaseb’s works have been presented in several international events such as Seattle Children's Theatre in the United States.

Some theater ensembles from Italy, South Korea and Spain are programmed to participate in the event.

Organized by the Brazilian theater group Espaço Sobrevento, the International Theater Week is scheduled to take place from November 3 to 11.
